How to Make 6 Figure Connections You Never Imagined Possible

03-Mar-2013

Wayne Sharer

Have you ever wondered how to make more money in less time?  Would you like to know how to make 6 figure connections (or more) with anyone you want, including the so-called “A” listers?

Very practical ways exist for you – yes you – to connect with people of extremely high influence.  The kind of connections that make you 6 or 7 figures or more very fast.  These connections make your friends faint because they never imagined you could get them.

It all starts here.  You’ve heard the phrase, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”  However, it really is just a little more than just knowing them.  “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know and how well you know them,” so says expert connector Larry Benet, the founder and CEO of Thought Leaders Mastermind Series.

Here are four of Benet’s best tips on how to make 6 figure connections.

Larry Benet has done amazing connections including getting Sir Richard Branson’s personal email in just 20 seconds, and getting invited to breakfast with Larry King in just 60 seconds.  His ability to connect is nothing less than phenomenal.

First, it’s the power of proximity.  You have to get close enough to whomever you want to know.  You may have to buy your way in just to meet them.  This isn’t all.  You may need to reach out repeatedly, and get no responses.  So get in proximity again, and stay on it.  The trick is to be interested in them and get them something they want.  By constantly adding value, once you get you “in,” the center of influence you want to get “in” will eventually open the doors.

Second, it may be surprising a master connector says this.  Are you ready?  Build a list!  Having a list is the basis of connections where you can start making connections.  You never know who will end up on your list.

Third, you must remember connections equal cash.  Make a strong, personal connection by finding out what is most important to them.  Then help them get it.  Be a real value creator for your connection.  If you know what’s important to them and you can help them get it, you are a value creator to them.

Finally, do some real and systematic follow up.  You must stay engaged.  Continue to add value, and do it fast. Literally bring people together who add value to whatever your connection wants.  As Benet says,”It’s about creating magic moments for other people” and it’s often much easier than you think.

Naturally, this requires you be action oriented and decisive.  If you won’t take action and can’t decide what to do next without a brain hemorrhage, you will never have real connections.  You will only have contacts.
